SmartPro® Multi-Parameter Panel-Mount Transmitter — Universal Single-Channel Interface
The +GF+ Signet 3‑9900‑1P is a ¼ DIN panel-mount multi-parameter transmitter from the SmartPro® family, providing a single-channel interface for flow, pH/ORP, conductivity/resistivity, salinity, pressure, temperature, level, and dissolved oxygen sensors — plus any device with a 4–20 mA output (via the optional 8058 i‑Go® converter). Key parameters: 12–32 VDC power (24 VDC nominal), one isolated 4–20 mA output standard (second optional via plug-in module), input types covering Digital (S³L) at 9600 bps and frequency 0.5–1500 Hz at ±0.5% of reading accuracy, housed in a PBT enclosure with NEMA 4X / IP65 front-face rating. The extra-large 3.90″ × 3.90″ auto-sensing backlit LCD displays units, main/secondary measurements, and a "dial-type" digital bar graph visible at 4–5× the distance of traditional transmitters.
Modular Expandability, Output Options & Where It Drives Automation
Its core automation function is to condition, scale, and relay sensor data into a stable 4–20 mA loop (or optional Modbus RS485) for PLC/DCS integration, plus drive alarms and pump/valve logic via optional field-installable relay modules — and even operate as a batch controller when the Batch + Relay modules are fitted. Typical deployments span wastewater treatment, RO/DI ultra-pure water, chemical dosing/neutralization, scrubber & cooling-tower loops, metal/plastic processing, and pharmaceutical/biotech CIP systems. Advantages include hot-swappable plug-in modules (Relay, Modbus, Batch, 4–20 mA out, H COMM, PC COMM), selectable error-mode current (3.6 or 22 mA), custom 13-character label ID, and certifications including CE / UL / cUL / FCC / RoHS — making it a versatile, future-proof faceplate for any liquid-parameter control loop.
